Groundwork's whole approach is saying things plainly, so here is the plain version of what this site is, what it is not, and what it does and does not collect.
What Groundwork is, and is not
Groundwork, including this site, the guide, the Field Guide PDF, the scorecard, the curriculum, and the free audit conversation, is educational material about organizing business information and adopting AI deliberately. It reflects one operator's working system and judgment.
- It is not legal, financial, tax, accounting, medical, or other professional advice. Nothing here creates a professional relationship of any kind. For decisions with legal, financial, or regulatory consequences, including succession planning, digital estate planning, contracts, and compliance, consult the licensed professionals who serve your business.
- It carries no warranty. The material is provided as is. You are responsible for how you apply it, and outcomes depend on your business, your judgment, and your execution.
- Regulated industries: if you operate in healthcare, law, finance, or another regulated field, your obligations (confidentiality, privilege, data handling, records rules) override anything this guide suggests. When the guide says "put documents where AI can read them," your professional obligations decide which documents that may ever include.
- The audit is a free educational conversation and produces suggestions, not deliverables you should rely on without your own professionals' review.
Privacy
- The scorecard runs entirely in your browser. Your answers are never sent, stored, or seen by anyone, including us.
- No accounts, no email capture, no cookies set by this site. There is nothing to sign up for.
- Anonymous page analytics. This site uses Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page visits without cookies and without building visitor profiles. It tells us which pages get read; it does not tell us who you are.
- External services: booking runs on Calendly and email runs on your own mail app; each is governed by its own privacy terms once you are there. The curriculum lives on GitHub.
- Questions: adam@adamabdalla.com.
